Ivory Nut Yoda Carving

This is an incredible piece of Ivory Nut which has been carved into ‘Yoda’.

Ivory Nut is harvested from palm trees which bear fruit only after 10 years of life, dropping a nut the size of a grapefruit. These nuts can take up to 8 weeks to harden enough to be carved.

Ivory Nut is also known as Tagua Nut which is most commonly found in Central and South America.
Tagua Nut is believed to be ‘a stone of Harmony’, because it is said to bring powerful energies of love, abundance and prosperity.

This stone has been used by many generations including the Ancient Mayans, Incas and Aztecs as a spiritual too to connect us to the spiritual realms.

It is also believed that this material carried the energies of the sun, instilling strength, confidence, power, energy and self esteem.
