The Orthoceras is a genus of extinct nautiloid cephalopod which are found globally and are encased in marine limestone. These are commonly also called Straight horn fossils.
These are an extinct relative of the modern squid, octopus, cuttlefish, with very clear chambers, growing in size as they grew.
